How much do we need to raise?

We need the community's help meeting the fundraising required to complete the park. Today, we have $45,000 remaining to meet our goal of $350,000 from private donors.

How much should I donate?

We're targeting $1,000 donated from each househould in the neighborhood. Each donor of over $1,000 will be recognized in the Donor Garden in the park. We're also looking for flagship donors which will additional provide special benefits (see below).

If you can't donate $1,000, please consider a more suitable amount. Any support is helpful to achieve our goal!

Is my donation tax deductible?

We are currently in the process of applying for 501(c)3 status and should have our determination letter in the next few months. Once we receive approval, your donation will be tax deductible. If you make a pledge today, we won't call for funds until the approval is final to ensure you can deduct any donation from your taxes. Any donations to the GoFundMe can not be guaranteed as tax deductible.

What do donors receive?

All donations of $250 or more will be acknowledged at the Donor Garden.

There are limited unique opportunities to help fund individual items in the park, such as the swings and park furniture — each of these will have a commemorative plaque. The lead park donor will select the final name of the park. The naming of the play meadow can honor the family name, the pod the family lives in, or honor a family member.

In addition to the park name, project donors will be acknowledged on the signage in the Donor Garden. The park signage will acknowledge all donors and be in a similar material and style to the entrance sign and signs depicted in The Prairies Master Plan. If you're interested in funding a certain aspect of the park, let us know!
